EPISODE 7 - Stress: Making it an ally rather than an enemy
Hello,
I'm delighted to be back with you for this episode 7 of The Glow O'Clock , our Sunday meeting to bring a little order, light and intention back into our lives ✨

Today, we're talking about a word that comes up often, especially during this exam period: stress 🤍
What if, instead of running away from it, we learned to look at it differently ?
Because stress is not your enemy. It's an energy you can transform. It's a natural reaction, sometimes uncomfortable, but deeply human. And very often, what stresses us the most are the experiences that make us grow the most.
In reality, it's not the event that creates your inner state. It's how you choose to navigate it. Stress can block you or make you grow. And that direction is yours to choose 💕
✨ Here are 5 concrete keys to transforming your stress into inner strength:
1. Breathe, deeply, intentionally 🫁
When you feel your mind racing, bring yourself back to what's important: your breathing. Inhale deeply for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, then exhale for 6 seconds.
This cardiac coherence method acts directly on your nervous system. It grounds you. It calms you. It gives you the clarity you need to take action.
2. Keep your eyes on your end goal ☀️
Even in the busiest times, remember what you're moving toward.
Visualize yourself after the challenge: what will you have accomplished, felt, proven to yourself? This image is your direction, your fixed point. It gives meaning to every effort.
3. Write to soothe, understand, organize 🖋
Writing has always been a powerful tool for me. It has allowed me to express my feelings, to gain perspective, and to bring order to my inner chaos.
You don't need to write beautifully. You just need to write sincerely. One page a day can be enough to calm and center you.
4. Structure your day, but leave space to relax 🗂
Stress sets in when everything becomes unclear. Create a clear structure. Plan, prioritize, and give your day a rhythm.
But above all: create moments of refocusing. Personally, I have found real stability through Pilates, meditation, and yoga.
These practices provided a gentle framework for my daily life. They helped me regain mental clarity when everything else seemed rushed.
5. Nourish your body to protect your mind 💧🥗
I already talked about this in a previous episode, but it's an essential pillar: food is your body's fuel.
A well-nourished body is more stable, more resilient, and more grounded. Conversely, a deficient body, lacking nutrients, will be more vulnerable to stress.
Stress often taps into areas where your body is out of balance. What you eat directly influences your nervous system, your concentration, your fatigue, and your mood.
Mental energy starts on the plate.
💫 What I would like you to remember:
Stress is not a problem. It's information.
A message that says: You are moving out of your familiar zone, and that's exactly where you're growing.
You don't overcome stress by refusing it. You do so by choosing how you approach it. With order, clarity, calm, and commitment.
You are able to channel this tension and make it an engine.
Make your stress not a barrier, but a proof of your commitment.
You are not overwhelmed: you are in motion. And it is this motion that ultimately transforms you.
See you next Sunday,
Emmy 💕
